We hunted down Battistella's after seeing their sign on the side of their truck about town and boy was it worth it! Having visited New Orleans serveral times and been spoiled by the eats, we have since discovered that it's hard to find true Cajun food. Finding Battistella's was like hitting the gold mine! The Shrimp and Grits are to die for and the Crawfish Etoufee will have you cleaning out the bowl with your bread. The Bread Pudding with white chocolate is wonderful. Needless to say we have now been several times since finding Battistella's and can't wait to go back! Dinner tonight as matter fact. You're missing a great dining experience if you don't check them out.
