We live about 60 miles east of Clayton. Returning Saturday evening from Greensboro. Normally would take 264/64 East, took 70 East just toStop at Louise's. Crawfisf Ettoufee, Shrimp and Oyster PoBoys all were excellent. Only thing missing was DIXIE Beer. My family loved it. Welcome to NC.

We found Louise's last week on our way home from Raleigh airport. I am a Californian, now living on the NC coast, but my roots are from Louisiana. Grandparents moved to Los Angeles in the 1920's. I know Louisiana food, I cook Louisiana food and Louise's knows what they are doing. The food was great. Me and my husband can't stop talking about it. We are sorry it is not closer to where we live. You people in Clayton are soooo lucky.
